CALLING ON THE WOMEN IN THE TWILIGHT OF THEIR LIFE

MOTHER TO MAGA

MONDAY NIGHTS, MAY -JUNE, 2025: ENROLMENT OPEN NOW

At the Centre of Every Thriving Community are the Mothers, the Magas, and the Elders:

In a world that often exalts youth and glorifies the maiden stage of womanhood, many of us are conditioned to overlook the profound power and sacredness of the seasons that follow.

Perimenopause, menopause, and the post-menopausal years are not endings, but powerful thresholds of transformation. Yet, in a society that leans heavily on hyper-individualism and youth-centric ideals, these transitions can often feel isolating, leaving us disconnected from our truest selves and from one another.

This container is a space to honour and embrace the fullness of who we are as women in our later years - a return to the collective womb, not just as a physical organ but as a sacred vessel of wisdom, strength, and sovereignty.

We gather here not just to heal, but to celebrate the deepening of our feminine journey, to come home to our bodies and souls after years of service to others—especially our children—and to reclaim the sacredness of our own cycles.

This is your Time.

Your Season. Your Opportunity to Rediscover Yourself on the Other Side of the mother season

The Maga archetype symbolizes the potent transition into the second half of life, embodying wisdom, creativity, and a renewed sense of purpose. It is a time of reclamation—where the experiences of the Mother phase evolve into a profound connection with self, community, and the wider world.

Embracing Life's Transformative Passages

As women, we move through many archetypal seasons of the womb on our journey of feminine maturation. These seasons are supported by distinct hormonal orchestrations that inform our capacities and evolution within each phase. The Maga is a time of slowing down and coming home to oneself after many decades of being in service to those around us—whether through raising children, managing households, advancing careers, or supporting families.

It is a profound season of integration and the ripening of feminine wisdom that is, unfortunately, often disregarded in our wider social construct. In a culture obsessed with youth and built on maiden-centric values, there is little space for the Maga to be revered, acknowledged, or celebrated.

Mother to Maga is a space for women to be held and supported as they unfurl into their next season of life. It is an introductory body of work aimed at women who may not have had access to celebrated and supported rites of passage or feminine development spaces earlier in their lives.

This is a space of connection, self-discovery, and integration through the ancient practice of sitting in circle with other women, alongside pathways of somatic awareness, ritual, therapeutic movement, and the integration of community values.

Whether or not you have had access to rites of passage or ceremonial spaces in the past, this container offers a soft entry into the world of Eclectica - an accessible version of our work that meets you exactly where you’re at, in this season of your life.

We understand that much of our work can feel edgy or outside the comfort zone for a lot women, especially those who are in the later seasons of life. This is why we’ve intentionally designed this offering as a bridge—a way to experience the richness of our teachings in a way that’s gentle, introductory, honouring of your comfort zone, and yet still designed to expand and empower you.

Think of this as an opportunity to catch up with other women and simply integrate this current season of life. To reflect and rediscover your identity as you emerge from the depths of motherhood, empty nesting, or any other chapter you are leaving behind.

It is a sacred space to explore and honour the transitions you are experiencing, to integrate the changes within, and to step forward into your next iteration of self with grace, power, and presence.

The dance you will be learning is super beginner friendly and just for fun! There will be no performance or stage-show - just an opportunity to move your body, have a laugh with other women in similar stages of life, and connect back home to yourself.

This is your time. Your season. Your reclamation!

What does it mean to Integrate Rites of Passage & Why is it Important?

A Rite of Passage is a ceremonial or ritual event that marks a significant transition or milestone in a person's life. These transitions often represent a shift in status, identity, or role within a community or society.

We all experience transformative passages throughout life. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our social construct, these passages are often overlooked or neglected, leaving little opportunity for individual integration. The absence of support during these transformative moments can create gaps in personal development, stalling the psyche’s evolution and hindering both feminine and masculine maturation.

One common passage that is often disregarded is menarche—our first bleed—a monumental transition from child to woman. Too often, this moment is experienced through the lens of isolation,  shame, or inconvenience. These experiences leave an imprint that shapes our understanding and experience of womanhood. When we later reclaim this passage in life, we offer solidarity to the parts of ourselves that were fragmented or neglected due to the lack of support during that time. Incorporating ritual, support, and celebration for these parts of ourselves fosters a deeper sense of wholeness and integration throughout the timeline of our lives.
